Koh Lipe: It is a small island in the Adang-Rawi Archipelago of the Strait of Malacca. On the border of the Tarutao National Marine Park, it is famous because of its wonderful beaches and landscapes. Koh Lipe is going to be our base. From here, we will move around the Marine Park, exploring local biodiversity.


E' una piccola isola dell'arcipelago di Adang-Rawi nello Stretto di Malacca. Situata sul bordo del Parco Marino Nazionale di Tarutao, è famosa per le sue spiagge bianchissime. Koh Lipe sarà la nostra base. Da qui ci muoveremo attraverso il Parco Nazionale, esplorando la biodiversità locale.

Koh Tarutao: It is the biggest of 51 island in the national park. It is 26 km long and 11 km wide with highest peak at 700m above the sea level. Crab-eating macaques, langurs and boars are regularly seen. Many species can be found in the coral reefs around the island and in the tropical forest that rapresents the wildest side of the park.

E' la più grande delle 51 isole che costituiscono il parco nazionale. Lunga 26 km e larga 11, il picco più alto è a 700 m sul livello del mare. E' facile avvistare macachi di Giava, langur e cinghiali selvatici. Moltissime le specie marine che si trovano nelle barriere coralline che circondano l'isola e nelle foreste tropicali che rappresentano la parte più selvaggia del parco. 

Kaeng Krachan National Park: Covering an area of 2914 km² it is the largest national park in Thailand. It is famous it's diverse wildlife, but also for the dense morning mist covering the park with hill tops sticking above mist cloud around December-March, creating a spectacular view. Possibly Thailand's top bird- and butterfly-watching location, over 420 species of birds has been observed in the park boundaries. There are 57 known species of mammals and around 300 butterfly species.

Coprendo un'area di  2914 km², è il parco nazionale più grande della Thailandia. Famoso per la sua incredibile biodiversità, ma anche per la densa nebbia che ricopre il parco e le sue cime nelle giornate da dicembre a marzo, regalando uno spettacolo mozzafiato. Probabilmente il miglior punto di osservazione per l'avifauna e le farfalle. Attorno al parco sono state osservate oltre 420 specie di uccelli. Presenti anche 300 specie di farfalle e 57 di mammiferi.

Koh Samui: It is Thailand's second-largest island after Phuket, with an area of 228.7 km2. Touristic island, famous even for jungles where you can meet dangerous animals like king cobra, and important for diving.

E' la seconda isola più grande della Thailandia, dopo Phuket, con un'area di 228.7 km2. Isola turistica molto importante, famosa anche per le giungle dove è possibile incontrare animali pericolosi, come il cobra reale, ma importanti anche per il diving e le immersioni libere.
